Repairman Rating for Cessna SkyCatcher

Postby Sean Caranna » Sun Aug 26, 2007 4:20 pm

Because the Cessna SkyCatcher is being certified as an S-LSA using the ASTM consensus standard it should be maintainable by any A&P or Repairman (light-sport aircraft) with a Maintenance rating. The Repairman (light-sport aircraft)--Maintenance rating requires that for airplanes the mechanic candidate needs 120 hours of training. The 162 SkyCatcher Club is currently searching for a training provider to conduct certification courses for it's members once 162 deliveries begin.
